Neighbourhood Plan

Following the survey carried out last year for Cheswick Green Parish’s Neighbourhood Plan all residents of the Parish will be receiving, during the week commencing 5 March, a final, more detailed questionnaire so that we can move forward with developing our plan taking residents views into consideration. It is important that as many residents as possible complete this survey as it is the last time we will be seeking residents’ views. If you care about the future our Parish and wish local residents to have a say in future planning for our area it is vital that we have an accepted Neighbourhood Plan. Otherwise higher authorities will be able to make decisions without much recourse to the views of residents.

In order to compile this latest survey the Parish Council has sought professional advice and the survey will be analysed by an outside body and will, therefore, be completely confidential. The Parish Council sought and has obtained grant funding to cover the cost of running this survey and also advice from a professional planner on formulating our Neighbourhood Plan.

If you wish to consult with members of the Parish Council Planning Committee before filling in your survey we will be holding surgeries in the Village Hall during the completion period. Dates and times of these will be advertised on this website once they have been finalised.
