Housing on Blythe Valley Park
Published: 19 May 2018
Following the Parish Council's experiences with the Cheswick Place development, where members have found that despite numerous complaints to Bloor Homes, SMBC and Considerate Construction little has been done to ensure that conditions set when the planning applications were granted have been followed, the Parish Council has responded to the applications from Bloor Homes and Crest Nicholson on Blythe Valley park asking that conditions should be mandatory not advisory and that they should be enforced. Members have also asked that the Planning and Transport departments at SMBC should consult with each other ensuring conditions relating to road layouts are feasible before such conditions are set. It appears this was not the case in regard to conditions set for the junction at the bottom of Creynolds Lane. The Parish Council's response to the Bloor Homes application can be viewed by clicking
