Christmas lights

The Parish Council has, in past years, arranged an event to celebrate the 'switch on' of the Christmas lights which has been has been very successful. We started the process again a short while ago, but it became apparent, after a while, that it was going to be difficult to get everything in position to make it a success again, not least of which were problems with the village hall. Therefore, we very reluctantly decided to cancel the event this year only, but we hope to be able to set up the event again next year and have another successful celebration of the start of the Christmas season. The lights will be switched on on December 5th.
